Spring 2026

Thought I would start a blog to add more info about what I’ve been working on in the final year and a half of my PhD. I am currently in the data collection phase for the final study of my dissertation - woohoo. I have thoroughly enjoyed the studies I’ve conducted and the many people I have met and worked with to complete them!

As well, I am a TA for Senior Design (492) and Introduction to Computer Science Research Methods (298) here at NC State. It has been a very rewarding experience to teach alongside my advisor, Dr. Catete, in Introduction to Computer Science Research Methods. I am participating in the Mentored Teaching Fellowship while teaching 298. 298 is the first underclassmen class I have taught at NC State which has been a fun change from Ethics and Senior Design.

For the remainder of the semester, I have some personal travel to Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. which I am excited for. It has been very cold (~40F/ 4C) here in NC. I am presenting at the 1st NC State Computer Science Graduate Research Symposium in March. I am eagerly awaiting to hear about two ITiCSE submissions as well as some other summer opportunities I have submitted to.

I plan to update this as I see fit and when time allows. :)
